For those who just recently browse our blog, you might wonder why you can’t find Ayana Resort and Spa in our blog. Fear not, my friends! PhotoFactory has been taking pictures in lots of Bali’s most beautiful and sought after venues for years, and Ayana Resort and Spa is no exception. The wonderful resort used to be called The Ritz-Carlton, Bali Resort & Spa until it changes its name to Ayana Resort and Spa on April 1 2009. As stated in their news release, the only thing changing is the resort’s name, while facilities and services will stay the same.
For your information, they have also maintained the names for their venues (e.g. Asmara Gazebo, Tresna Pavillion, etc). So if you feel like browsing a venue for your wedding (or even friends and family’s), simply browse Ayana Resort and Spa’s many venues in our archive under the title “The Ritz-Carlton”. And don’t forget to contact us, since we will be delighted to work with you in your event! Bravo for Ayana Resort & Spa!
This January, Kelly Chan and Tyran Kam held their wedding at the prestigious Tirtha Uluwatu.

The white gown and white chapel interior really reflects the solemn and holy atmosphere of the event, and also brings out the best from the beautiful bride.

After the wedding and cake cutting (a unique cake indeed, if we may say so!), the whole party went to The Ritz-Carlton Resort Bali to have the wedding dinner at Chandra Surya. Read their testimonial here. Wish you all the best, Kelly and Tyran!

The Ayana, which means “a place of refuge†in Sanskrit, was the chosen wedding venue for Ryoko and Andrew Norden. Their wedding was held at the Ayana Gazebo, accompanied only by selected wedding guests.

You can see traces of Andrew’s origin from the little details in the bouquet and his little baby’s outfit. Okay, Andrew’s outfit was also a major hint ;).

After that the happy family went for a horse carriage ride and back to Ayana Villa again to have their wedding dinner with the guests.

Although half of the guests were Japanese, language was not an issue as they lift their glasses together and wish happiness for the newly wed. See their testimonial here. Cheers, Ryoko and Andrew! –Ary–

Dean Fergus is a bodyboarder, DJ, and also runs SecretSumatra, an exclusive surf camp in Sumatra. Although some would say he already got it all, this bachelor have just recently completed his achievements when he wed beautiful Kristin Lee in a wedding ceremony at Tresna Pavilion in the prestigious The Ritz-Carlton Bali.

Kristin is a journalist in South Korea, and that explains her keen eyes for details. Needless to say, their wedding was unforgettable.

After the wedding, the happy couple and the wedding guests head out to OMG Villa in Nusa Dua area. This beautiful villa with its breathtaking view of the ocean becomes a perfect place to conclude such wonderful event. Wish you all the best, Kristin and Dean! -Ary-

Just before their wedding ceremony, Yvonne and Steven manage to steal some time to do their pre-wedding photo shoot in The Ritz-Carlton area.

The wedding itself was held in Astina Chapel, at The Ritz- Carlton Bali. The glass-decorated chapel creates a wonderful and bright atmosphere for the wedding. You can really see the joy on Yvonne and Steven’s face as they smiled towards the camera.

Their wedding cocktail was held in the surrounding of Astina Chapel, accompanied with the sounds of the wave and refreshing sea breeze. As you can see on the balloon-releasing picture, the effect was quite wonderful :).

The wedding was closed by a wedding dinner at Asmara Gazebo. Such a wonderful event indeed. Wish you both all the best, Yvonne and Steven! -Ary-
